Launch of Kingdom Health Mandate Initiative for Rivers West Senatorial District
The Acting Executive Secretary of RIVCHPP, Dr Vetty Agala, joined the Deputy Governor of the State, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh , and other health professionals and well-meaning citizens of the State to partake of the launch of Kingdom Health Mandate Initiative for Rivers West Senatorial District, a constituency programme of Senator Dr. Ipalibo Banigo, which is a kind of health insurance for people of Rivers West Senatorial District, at Ahoada Town .
Also, Prof. Ngozi Odu writes "Today, representing Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara, I'm pleased to announce that the Rivers State Health Insurance Scheme now covers 70% of our local government areas. By investing in healthcare, we're strengthening our communities, boosting local economies, and improving individual lives.
"I commend Senator Dr. Mrs Ipalibo Harry Banigo for her transformative efforts, which complement our state's initiatives in reducing out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
"The flag-off ceremony showcased the power of synergy between the Federal and State Governments".
